Provence is one of the most alluring regions of France. It
boasts some of the best preserved Roman sites in the world,
enchanting towns, world class museums and galleries, together
with Mediterranean warmth, fragrant vineyards and delicious food
and wine. It is impossible to go almost anywhere that does not
have a link with a famous artist. Its natural beauty, light and
colour proved to be an inspiration for Cezanne, Monet, Degas,
Renoir, Van Gogh and Picasso. We shall mainly follow in the
footsteps of Cezanne and Van Gogh.
Our tour is designed to show you the
best that the area has to offer, with comfortably paced days so
that you can make the most of the wonderful culture and art, as
well as relax and enjoy the Provencal way of life. The tour will
be based in Avignon.
