Information for lecturers

  St Mark's Church Hall (St Marks Centre) has a seating capacity of 175. An average lecture would attract an audience of around 140. There is an electronically operated drop down projection screen which is 3.5 metres wide. The society has a high quality 4200 lumens digital projector with zoom lens and a Kensington wireless presenter with laser pointer. The sound system features radio microphones. The society has its own laptop PC to link with the digital projector, running on Windows 7 and including Office 2007 software with Powerpoint. We prefer lecturers to bring their presentations on a memory stick, and should someone wish to link a Mac laptop to our projector, we would ask you to let us know beforehand and to arrive in good time to allow us to troubleshoot any compatability issues.
